If you folks know on how to write websites, I’m just now learning to build them, however I don’t know if they’re working or not. If someone could show me step by step, I would appreciate it. I maybe overlooking something. Thanks!
So first what you will need for your work is program in which you will write your code. If you don't have any program which is suitable editing the code you definitly have the wordpad or notepad. Here you can start writing your code. You can also download some programs like HTML Kit, or you can buy others like Dreamweaver, PHP Expert Editor,....
Now you can write the code but you will also need to learn it. You can find lots of very good tuorials on [URL=http://www.w3schools.com]W3Schools[/URL] or [URL=http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/teachingtool/]webmonkey[/URL] . You can also google it for more.
Than you will also have to design your site. I suggest that you start learning CSS. About this topic you can also find a lot of good tutorials on W3Schools and on [URL=http://www.csszengarden.com/]CSS Zen garden[/URL].
This will should be the starting point for you (they have been also for me ?).
