User credential validate trough another website.

Hi,

Let me explain what I am trying to do.

Let’s say I have my web site. ([url]www.x.com[/url])
It have a USER / PASSWORD field login.
When user type is username and password and press login, my web site will check if the username and password are valid from different site ([url]www.y.com[/url] . [url]www.z.com[/url] etc.)
If the username and password is valid, then the end user will be directed to another page.

Is such thing possible?
