Help picking apart this javascript

I had this adware cookie on my computer and out of curiousity would like help picking apart what it does. I have done a little javascript in the past but it has been a while. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the code below does? This is only the start of the code. The rest is automatically generated as an HTML site to advertise their product or whatever annoying image they want to show.

It looks like it’s downloading some kind of file from my computer and using it in a pop-up window? What do you guys think? Thanks!
