Using version control in Aptana

Hi there,

I recently started using Aptana as my development environment and would like to start using a version control system for my current project.

How I’m working is connecting to a remote server through Aptana and working directly from there, instead of using files located on my PC. I prefer this because it means if I connect from multiple locations (home and work) or have other people working from the files they’re always up to date. I change files on the development website and then copy those changes over to live one.

Is there a way I can include a version control system into this process? My current workplace uses Mercurial so I was looking at installing the MercurialEclipse plugin into Aptana but I’m not sure what I would do from there?

Thanks,

Steven.
