moving cirlcle on line(bar)?

Hi guys,
I am trying to find some tutorial, where i could learn how to connect to objects(circle and line let’s say)

basically, i need model to move my circle(ball) on line. Line in not horizontal, but it has some angle etc…
trying to google for some example, but i could find only animations with horizontal lines
