applets attached code?

Apparently there is a way to attach applets externally like above codes.
Does anyone out there know what the simple code is?

eg.

<applet src=”sample.class”></applet>

did not work for me? any suggestions appreciated.

any come across any freeware javascripts please send any zipped script sample codes to: [email][email protected][/email]
