(on)mousedown/(on)mousemove event problem dealing with <img>

I’m trying to be able to drag an image around the web page, but both IE and FireFox seem to refuse to handle events during any “click and move” operation on an img element.

All I got is a phorbiden sign and the interruption of all event handling. I’ve tried draging images from other webpages (like this forum) and noticed that firefox allows us to bookmark or go to the image url. I guess it can be helpful sometimes but it’s being a pain in the ass to me right now.

Any ideas to overcome this situation?

@HiDeWaYauthorJan 25.2007 — I just solved the problem. I was not returning false in the end of the event delegate.
