Help adding "Plays: xxxx"

I’m really not sure if this is HTML or JavaScript, but I’m making a flash game website and I want “Plays: xxxx” to show up below every game. Can anyone help me or point me to a guide on how to do this? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!

@Declan1991Oct 12.2008 — #And what is xxxx? The total number of plays? If so, neither, you'll need a server-side language (PHP, ASP etc.) to store that sort of information.

@BrenthauthorOct 13.2008 — #Yes xxxx stands for the number of plays. Could you point me to some sort of guide or can you move this to the PHP section?
