Linking tables

I have been trying to use templates in the same way as we use frames for my web page.
But i am having problems on displaying the header template at the top of my home page and the details template in the main body. Does anyone know how to call this different templates to display on the specified locations on the main page of the website.Thanks for all your help and code.
