    In the infested market of real estate, what method could one use to get better placement?

    • for example:

    The domain as: commercialrealestateseotest

    The page named: commercialrealestate

    The <meta> commercial real estate

    The content: about commercial real estate

    I’m not looking for the snake oil get rich quick method, just an honest professional opinion on this approach. Any suggestions appreciated.

    @jasinJun 02.2007 — Domain doesnt play much importance from spellings point of view, but definitely it plays a major role in terms of history/hosting of your website

    Google specifically gives importance based upon following factors :-

    1) Age of your domain

    2) Registration Duration of your domain

    3) Domain extensions (.us, .uk. co.in ) - .us will always score higher rankings on Google US, whereas .co.uk extension will score higher rankings on Google.co.uk.

    4) Hosting IP of your website - If you have a .co.uk domain and you have hosted your website on U.S server, then your website shall be considered as a US website and not UK website. Your I.P Address plays a major role in deciding whether you score higher rankings on Google.co.uk or Google.com (U.S or some other country)

    Kind of. Your RSS feed should have a high PR. My RSS feed's page has a PR of 4 and my main site has a PR of 5. Your feed is link heavy and SERPS love links. The more subsribers the better. I recommend you consolidate your feed using Feedburner. Make sure you use full RSS instead of summary. Summary is annoying ?
