The list-style-type
property designates the type of list-item marker (or lack thereof) in a list.
Examples:
ul.one {
list-style-type: circle;
}
ul.two {
list-style-type: square;
}
ul.three {
list-style-type: none;
}
ul.four {
list-style-type: lower-alpha;
}
disc
Default value. The marker is a filled circle (bullet point).
armenian
Sets the marker to traditional Armenian numbering.
circle
Sets the marker to a circle.
cjk-ideographic
Sets the marker to plain ideographic numbers.
decimal
Sets the marker to a number.
decimal-leading-zero
Sets the marker to a number with leading zeros (01, 02, 03, etc.)
georgian
Sets the marker to traditional Georgian numbering.
hebrew
Sets the marker to traditional Hebrew numbering.
hiragana
Sets the marker to traditional Hiragana numbering.
hiragana-iroha
Sets the marker to traditional Hiragana iroha numbering.
katakana
Sets the marker to traditional Katakana numbering.
katakana-iroha
Sets the marker to traditional Katakana iroha numbering.
lower-alpha
Sets the marker to lower-alpha (a, b, c, etc.)
lower-greek
Sets the marker to lower-greek.
lower-latin
Sets the marker to lower-latin (a, b, c, etc.)
lower-roman
Sets the marker to lower-roman (i, ii, iii, iv, v, etc.)
none
No marker.
square
Sets the marker to a square.
upper-alpha
Sets the marker to upper-alpha (A, B, C, etc.)
upper-greek
Sets the marker to upper-greek.
upper-latin
Sets the marker to upper-latin (A, B, C, etc.)
upper-roman
Sets the marker to upper-roman (I, II, III, IV, V, etc.)
initial
Sets the property to its default value.
inherit
Inherits this property’s value from its parent item.
