The quotes property defines the type of quotation marks that are used in quotations.

Syntax

Example:

p.ex {
  quotes: "'" "'";
}

Values

none
No quotation marks will be produced for the values of “open-quote” and “close-quote” of the “content” property.

string string string string
Designates which quotation marks to use, with the first two values designating the first level of quotations embedding, the next two for the next level, and so on.

initial
Sets the property to its default value.

inherit
Inherits this property’s value from its parent item.
