google sitesearch

Haven’t been here before but looks like a good place to get help. I’m working on an amateur homepage and have google sitesearch to it. At the moment, only the front page is online but still, when I type a word that is in the description, keywords and title. It shows no matches. I think it is a problem with the character encoding on the page but I can’t find any resources for this online. Can anyone help?

@David_HarrisonNov 15.2005 — More likely it's just that other sites also match the keywords that you're searching for.

If you have some worthwhile content on there and other sites start linking to you, Google will begin ranking you higher for particular searches involving your keywords.
