new website help?

i just got my own website and there a few things i don’t know how to do on it. i want to make a gallery with thumbnails and when you click them, the full picture pop ups in a new window. i think the code is javascript but i’m not sure. what is the code for that?

[B]Note[/B]: When you make you thumbs, make them a smaller vesion of the image, about 5-10kb in size.

If you want to avoid javascript [in case the user turns it off]

you can use definition lists that have the thumbnails and links

to larger images...see using as an Image Gallery near the bottom
