Get url of webpage that is using mod_rewrite

I’m trying to get the url of a web page that is using mod_rewrite. I’ve tried parse_url() but it only returns the url that the link goes to, I want the real url that that I see at the top of firefox when I clickon the link. Curl sounds like it might be the answer but I can’t find any good docs on it.

@danimalauthorAug 30.2005 — Guess I should tell what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to get the absolute paths of all the images on a remote webpage that is using mod_rewrite and relative paths to all of their images. So if I had the real url instead of the one they use mod_rewrite to change I could find this out, is there an easier way?

@bokehAug 30.2005 — The only ways I can think of are:

1) ask the site owner or

2) brute force

Success!
