Hello All
I’m new here and probably don’t even speak your language. Yes it is English but not computer tech. Does anyone have a code for changing from page to page on a Web site artistically. Like fading in, turning page etc. Kind of like what you can do on a slide show in power point.
Thanks
Connie

@JonaMar 11.2005 — There is an option for that but it is Internet Explorer only. You might look at DynamicDrive or some other scripting site for a cross-browser slideshow effect script. (You might try looking at brothercake.)

@NogDogMar 11.2005 — By the way, my experience has been that after the first "oh, isn't that cute" experience, the vast majority of the time people find such page transitions a minor annoyance at best, and a time-wasting nuissance at worst.

Agreed. And for impatient people such as myself, it is indeed the latter. Besides, page transitions are so late 1900s anyway. ?

@conandtom42authorMar 17.2005 — Thanks for your input. I know they can be annoyingly slow but that's what my customer wants. His site is offering a mellow vacation in the mountains so maybe people looking for a vacation won't mind slowly lollygagging through the site. I must not be looking in the right place because I haven't found a script yet.

By the way your site didn't blow up in my face so I guess your last experiment was a success.

Connie

I guess the email notification doesn't work because I wasn't notified that I had replies.
