Using expanding links and an image…

i have code for expanding links (ie fanball.com on right side).

How can I have an image next to the links (like a 2nd column next to them) but not have the image move on the page with the expanding links?

am i making any sense?

I was thinking that i might use frames, but i don’t want to visually have them on my screen.
Can they be used but the user doesn’t know?
