brand new to .html how do i use Buttons

im having trouble understanding html
when i want to create a button that is exactly over the ones on the non tiling background image here

do i use coordinits or something

alternitivly does anyone know a good w y s i w y g app that would let me move them in on screen?

@TheBearMayMar 03.2005 — Any positioning that you'd do would be dependent upon the user's resolution and browser settings, which are largely beyond your control. May want to consider using an image map instead.

I'd say that going to [URL=w3schools.com]W3 Schools[/URL] is a good place to start with this. But there are zillions of tutorials online to get the understanding down.

As far as WYSIWYG editors go, Dreamweaver (Macromedia) is really good (although others will disagree) for a beginner. If you view it in the split screen mode you can see the WYSIWYG aspect right next to the code it's generating. This is a good way to "see it in action". Eventually the code will make sense and you can start hand coding without a visual editor. When you can handcode you know that the understanding is there. . .
