Ok, I posted about this before, but now I have a seperate question. I have a mailing list in a database. I want to send a user-entered message to everyone who has signed up to the list and hasn’t clicked the link at the bottom of the email to be unsuscribed. The way I’m thinking about doing it is have an admin for the client to enter the message. And when the send button is clicked, then the page loops through the array returned by a select statement, sending ‘x’ amount of emails every ‘y’ seconds.

Thinking about it though, I’ve come up with a problem logistically. Implemented this way, the client will have to keep the page open until the loop is finished. Is this a viable solution? How would others go about this task?

Thanks for any tips,
Jaelan
