Using FP2002 to generate SQL query that includes a variable

Hello all!

I’m trying to type in an SQL query using FP2002’s built-in query dialog box, but I’m stumbling with a problem. I want to use:

SELECT * FROM Users WHERE userHSE = ” & UserIs & “

But I can’t force FP to leave those quotation marks alone, it turns them into double quotation marks, thus the query doesn’t grab the variable’s value but its name, ampersands included and all!!

Has anyone had this problem before and can help me out? Thanks a bunch in advance!!

Natalia
