DFN with TITLE results in blinking tool-tip in IE

I’m playing around with some CSS and HTML at www.charles-reace.com/newstyle.html . In the first paragraph of the main DIV, I marked up the word “consectur” as…

<dfn title=”Definition goes here”>consectur</dfn>

In Firefox it works fine, and on mouse-over you get a tool-tip box with the “Definition goes here” phrase. But in IE (6.0.2800.1106 on Win2000-Pro) the tool-tip blinks on and off very annoyingly. This blinking does not occur for the A link which follows later in the same paragraph, however.

Has anyone seen this before, and if so is there a fix/work-around for it?

@NogDogauthorDec 10.2004 — Hmm..., must be something peculiar to my versions/environment here. (I even tried my Windows standard operating procedure: "Reboot and see if it's OK now.") Oh well, I ain't gonna lose any sleep over it. Thanks for testing it, guys.
