Hi,

This perhaps isn’t the best place to post this question, but I’m sure there’s some developer out there who can give a clear answer over this.

My company is wishing to have our products in an RSS feed with news updates etc. However I’ve noticed that most sites offer a feed that points to either an XML file or a PHP.

They both appear to produce the same results in a news reader or firefox, but can anyone explain why some feeds are XML andothers PHP and any problems/advantages that may arise of using one over the other.

Many many thanks…
