Never really thought about it to be honest. Although perhaps it's a good thing. I mean I'm not exactly comfortable with the whole html / xhtml situation we've got going on right now. I know it isn't what you were getting at; but maybe it is a good thing that CSS has the monopoly. Its level of support is not even across the board yet, so I dread to think what throwing another language into the fray might do.
Well....... I suppose there's XSL. But does that really count? Or should it be more the question of: "We have XSL, but there's CSS too. But does CSS count?", seeing as xhtml will supposedly and eventually supercede html.
