Good morning,
I would like to submit you a problem that I found after a website was refurbished.
The new site was built on a new domain and all the previous domains (4) were configured to redirect the new domain in order to take advantage of its positioning on search engines.
After about 3 months I can say that the number of visits to the site has become almost constant, as it was for the old site.
The problem lies in the emails that are sent by the contact form on the site, which have drastically reduced since the transition to the new site.
Obviously I did every type of test to verify the functioning of the form, with always correct results.
I also tried to temporarily disable Google’s recaptcha, without getting results.
An external consultant told my boss that the problem is a technical quibble related to the SEO of the site, and in all honesty I have no idea how SEO can influence the filling in of the form by a user, since as I wrote before , the number of visits to the page is not low. Needless to say, I absolutely must be able to resolve the issue.
I thank all those who will help me.
