Simple SEO.

Hello, I am trying to learn some simple SEO technique. All I need is when users do a google search let say a cat sitting service in his/her nearby area, the website will come up in google search. I tried google idexing, and google crawling but nothing comes up. I am rather confused with the submitting process. I don’t know whether I did it right or it just takes time for google to do the work. Could someone please give a step by step guidance? Thanks.

@rootDec 26.2018 — Crawling and Indexing are same thing just different terms when your site is submitted to search engines by your web host.

SEO for each search engine provider has got their own ranking system, SEO is IMHO a pointless exercise if you apply it after you built the site, it should be a case of design the site around the URL paths you want to use.
