@direct_destinatSep 22.2017 — Hello there, it totally depends on your site and for the page you are optimising. For e-sales there are usually lots of keywords, while specialised blogs do not require so many.

@bangthetableSep 22.2017 — One keyword is enough for meta title and meta description. Keyword density should not more than 2% in the content. But don't repeat the same keyword for multiple times. Use unique keyword with different search term for the content.

@efusionworldSep 25.2017 — Micro or Blog Pages: Blog pages are the specific pages that focus on a particular topic. So for these pages strictly use one keyword per page. Write a keyword centered title tag, and Meta description tag. The On Page content should have keyword rich text supporting the keyword target.

Landing Pages: The landing pages should focus on a keyword family. You can choose one keyword family consisting of several related helper words. The title tag and Meta tag in this case also should be keyword focused. Just like the blog pages, use keyword heavy text that supports the keyword target for the On Page content. Carve inbound links to the landing pages from site navigation and the homepage, revolving around the target phrase.

Home Page: The situation is more complicated with the homepage. So you have to be very carefully about the title tag and Meta description tag of the homepage. It is suggested to select keywords for the homepage that are very competitive and are of high priority. Start with the title tag. The title tag is subject to < 80 character limit; although only about < 69 characters are visible on Google.

Example

Title : Primary Keyword | Secondary Keyword | Brand Name, and not more that 60 to 65 characters

Description : Use primary keyword or secondary keyword or both at-least once and not more than 160 characters

Tip : Targeting keywords should be relevant to page content.

@jyzdesignSep 25.2017 — Considering the character limitations, 2 keywords are enough. Later it depends on your skill of forming tags. Use one keyword and you will rank for its multiple version which is a common thing in SEO. So we cannot say anything accurate here. Just do it, check the results and make changes accordingly if required.

That's true for most cases, however if the page has lots of content you can go for way more.

@gomyitguyOct 10.2017 — Its depend on keyword analysis. If you are targeting or working for E-commerce website then you can create keywords for every product pages and targeted as traffic point of view. If you want to get more traffic then you have to work for these keywords who have in traffic and increase the ranking for these keywords.
