Crawl errors in Google webmaster tool

Every week I am checking my Google web master account. I have fixed the crawl errors many times. But still many more crawl errors are occurring. Why crawl errors are occurring even my website doesn’t have those URLs in the backend?

The reasons are:

  • 1. Some URL's which is expired or deleted by you.

  • 2. If any user typed a wrong url in browser and google read this url then also webmaster shows the error.

  • 3. Expired/ 404 links

For persistent or re-occuring DNS errors, check with your DNS provider. Often your DNS provider and your web hosting service are the same.

    @williamsmith2Jun 15.2017 — Yeah 301 redirection is the best option to avoid from crawl errors. I mostly used 301 redirection for 404 pages to redirect on relevant pages or on home page....
