Google has confirmed is continuing support for the Google Site Search product

Read this from Search Engine Land that Google Site Search is a paid product that lets you power your internal website’s search engine based on the Google search technology. Google charges based on monthly query volume for the product.

@brad_jonesMar 06.2017 — I'm not sure what you don't understand. If you look at the top left side of this page, you'll see that this forum uses the Google Custom Search. This is a customized search field that pulls results for this page. Google has another search option that is their Site Search that is similar, but removes Google banding and a few other things. The Site Search is going away, custom search is not.
