Adding google search to a website (Backend)

Hello guys,

I’m not sure if this subject goes in this forum, but since it’s related to search engines, I guess it does.

So I want to add Google’s seach capabilities to my website, specifically, I’m interested in the first 10 results (title and link) and the autocomplete for a search term. I want to make something closer to startpage.com.

Has anyone an idea of how to do that? Do google provides an API, and if so, did anyone tried it?

Thanks

@brad_jonesJun 22.2016 — You mean adding Google search kind of like what is under the logo in the upper left side of this page?

Most of the search engines have APIs and licensing.
