scripting in forms- Moving between fields

Hello group:

I am working on a form that seems to have a mind of its own. The forms has several text fields that link back to a database though CDML and filemaker.
I am scanning barcodes for librarying files. In this particular form, the scanner will use a return key after ever “good” scan. I need that value(return key) to move the user to the next field.
But wait, it gets better:
Once the codes are all scanned, i need to be able to submit this form to the database which would mean the return key needs to submit as well.

Can anyone help at all?
