Best video sharing site

I am interested to make my own video sharing website and i am looking for help, i want to generate revenue. How should I take a start and what should be the hosting requirements for it. please help?

(I.e.: it's tough to make money doing something that others are already doing and as such already have the traffic. You need to bring something new to the stage that no one else has successfully done yet, or you'll likely just be another dot.com that never makes it.)
