Best route for publishing content onto iOS/Android platforms

Hi all,

I wanted to know what the best route would be for me to create and publish [B]apps[/B] onto mobile devices.

ME: I am fairly competent in HTML and CSS, and have familiarity with Javascript. However, [B]that’s it[/B]! My ideas for applications are good, but my knowledge is lacking.

What I want to know: I have little understanding of the steps I need to take in between. I have Adobe CS5, and Flash professional is a way I could potentially make apps, but what other options do I have? What route is best?
