I hope this is in the right place, my hosting goes down too much. I need to know where I can get reliable web hosting with good prices, I’m paying $9.99 for 2.5 gigs, 10gigs badwidth w/cpanel, php/mysql and fast speeds, problem is it goes down about once a month, can’t have that for my customers.
If anyone knows of a compatible service please let ne know.

@chrisrock79Sep 26.2005 — Midphase.com hasn't given me any troubles.

madddidley, can I assume you host through Mher? I have actually been looking at them as a reseller option, what has been your experience if you don't mind.

@zandor435Sep 27.2005 — i have used both network solutions and godaddy.com netoworkSolutions seems to have better technical support than goDaddy, but godaddy is cheaper.

they are both in that $10 range.

@elaurvickSep 27.2005 — After trying Earthlink (too expensive, crashed a lot, and their help desk sucks), and GoDaddy (crashed a lot, could never get a simple form to work, and their help desk sucks), we went to www.nikira.com

Inexpensive, stable, a lot of free goodies, and never more than 24 hours (usually less) response time when I had a problem.

i never used network solutions, but after the way they treated people that tried to transfer domains I'll never deal with them again, they suck, and I was with godaddy, but at that time they didn't have cpanel, I'll never by hosting without cpanel.

on www.nikira.comOn the front page it says there package is 200gigs, but when I look at there plans page it's only 200 megs. 200 megs for $9 is kind of expensive.

The prices aren't bad, but they limit the amount of domains, I would want to have as many as I see fit.

In case some of you over looked it, the second post mentioned www.mher.org

and I haven't seen anything compare to them except maybe the one I'm with. I've been with NavigatorIS 3 years. They went down the morning I started this thread and it was 6 hours with no response, so I panicked, thought maybe he gave up on hosting. Usually if there is a problem it's fixed in minutes.

Turned out he was on a plane from New Jersey to LA. When he got to his hotel in LA he was right on it and the servers were running in about 25 minutes.

In 3 years they've only been down 2 times, both this year.

I can't make up my mind now, to stay with NavigatorIS , or go to www.mher.org, I can't believe those prices!!!

@chrisrock79Sep 28.2005 — I checked out Mher, unfortunately, the first thing I found via Google was this

http://www.armenianplanet.com/post-3111.html

I found a couple good reviews, but they were all done by people trying to get affiliate sign-ups. Yes, it could all be made up, but I don't see that it is. I would recommend testing out their customer service before signing on.
