Please suggest some ideas to recover my website after penguin 2.0 live.

Please suggest me what step should I take to recover my website after Penguin 2.0. I found some tactics like get rid of bad links, remove bad directory links and remove canonical issues to recover but I don’t think so, that can solve my problem properly, so please suggest some more ideas.
