Does anybody have any good tips for altering the intuitive/suggestive search?

recommendations that you find in google when you start typing in the search box??

I would think the usual SEO techniques would deter or manipulate the suggestive search… i’ve been taking a crack at a phrase for about a week now with little results… I’ve gotten some changes to work but i need it maximize my efforts so I was just wondering if anyone here has some strategies.. thanks in advance.
