You also shouldn't make a link that includes your C drive. As soon as you upload the file to your host, that link becomes invalid. The first link you posted should work as long as you have a file in pathway provided. IE, you should be able to find a folder named versions within the same folder that the file you are currently viewing is in.

@asaauthorFeb 23.2012 — That´s the problem! I have folders: versions > english > intro in which the file lks.html is stored!

Do you have a local web host set up?
Copy linkTweet thisAlerts:
@asaauthorFeb 23.2012 — No
Copy linkTweet thisAlerts:
@NoEffinWayFeb 23.2012 — You need one to proper test your site. I recommend using XAMPP, you can find the download link on this page: http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.html#641

(Direct: http://www.apachefriends.org/download.php?xampp-win32-1.7.7-VC9-installer.exe)

If you need help setting it up, let me know.

@asaauthorFeb 23.2012 — Why do I need a web server for just an ordinary link?
Copy linkTweet thisAlerts:
@NoEffinWayFeb 23.2012 — Technically you dont but it makes things better.

Change:

To:

Copy linkTweet thisAlerts:
@asaauthorFeb 23.2012 — I did that but it didn´t open!

nor did:

So I still have the problem!
Copy linkTweet thisAlerts:
@asaauthorFeb 23.2012 — For a link I don´t have to be on line? Do I? So, still this problem with a link!
Copy linkTweet thisAlerts:
@asaauthorFeb 23.2012 — I finally managed (on-line?)

You will need to do this eventually as you will need a server and databsae for things like PHP and MySQL.

You don't.

Formatting for a link should be using forward slashes, ie "/". Notice the url for this site is http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/

<a href="/versions/englishintro/lks.html">
<img src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_cIPQ-HCqBAg/TAKoVdt59AI/AAAAAAAAAK4/fvqQE-B5g0w/s1600/english+flag.gif" alt="english" class="english">
</a>

If that doesn't work, remove the forward slash behind the word versions. If neither work, then odds are the file isn't were it's suppose to be.
