Apply for multiple ad networks?

Hi.
I want to put some ads up on my site to make a bit of money. I was wondering if there is anything wrong with applying for a whole bunch of ad networks and wait and see which ones accept my site.

Is there any drawback to this approach? Any opinions on what I should do?

@developerguruAug 18.2011 — If you are applying for google adsence you should carefully read the policies. I have seen many cases where people sites are band for ads because they have done some work that is conflicting their policies.

I think same situation is with other ad networks.
