In general, as a PHP programmer, Smarty does nothing for me that I cannot do with PHP, and I can do it more efficiently with PHP both in terms of development time and actual code execution time. Smarty PHP
I recently hired a PHP developer, and he has a fixation with Smarty PHP. Does anyone have any experience with this library, and what are the pros and cons of using it? I have never used it and I’m curious if I hire another PHP developer, if they will have problems working within his code base.
