Can anybody recommend some good link-building & tracking software?

I’m looking at writing a simple app to track and manage link building requests – something that will fire an email off to the thrid party site and which you can report on which ones have replied and added your link to their site etc etc.

Any tips/advice appreciated

I'd write it myself if i went down that route, would rather use a tried and testing one though. Thanks anyway
