PHP Question

hey all, I have this error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/content/d/r/a/draftwatchers/html/new-design/index.php(76) : eval()’d code on line 2

I have all the templates listed/stored in my mysql database, named Templates.

And, I have the sitre where I have index.php, and config.php, class_core.php, etc…..

Any idea why im getting this error.

@ChuckBNov 21.2010 — whenever you see "unexpected" errors, it's usually something before the line it suggests...

you may have missed a ";" a the end of a statement or you may not have closed out an HTML tag properly (if your php code is mixed with HTML code), then continued with a <?php declaration...

@AB83RulesauthorNov 21.2010 — whats weird is when I updated the template I got that error, but when I didnt and had all the template original from my other website(that I didnt create, but was handed over), i get that error.

So, idk if its the code in the actual php code, or in the templates.

@aj_nscNov 21.2010 — It's very tough to say where the actual error is because it's coming from eval'd code. The best thing to do is to start in index.php on line 2 and see what code is being eval()'d. Then, check that script to find a stray "<"

I changed the name to mainone, and it works, but It appears as if its echoing the other sites main template.

i dont understand this, Ive changed all the code i can think of to the other website that I want it to be linked too.

also, for some odd reason I cant get the stories to display on the main page but on the others when you click on the links they work and display the text.

any idea what that could be from?
