That's not exactly beginner's level, but you could try viewing the source code (which you'll find in your browser's View menu), not forgetting the links to scripts and stylesheets... copying it, mulling it, and seeing if you can transpose your material into it. And give it a credit.
On another tack, you might find Elizabeth Castro's book and website a good starting point.
Other folk might recommend readymade templates: I'm not familiar with them, but you might try googling: there's probably something that will appeal to you, between the two extremes mentioned.
