apache server + mysql where can i download ?

Hi everyone,
I wanted to start learning PHP so i downloded: “WAMPServer” and installed it.
I created some PHP code and named it: c:wampwwwindex.php but when i load the browser with the following address: [url]http://localhost/index.php[/url] i’m requested to insert user name and password. No matter what i do, i cant load my PHP file.
Can anyone suggest where i can download Apache server (+ mysql + PHP) for free? Anyone knows maybe what’s wrong with WAMPServer ?

@NogDogDec 27.2009 — As far as I know, nothing in the default installation of wampserver should require you to have to log in. Unless you either have something in the PHP script you are trying to load or else have turned on HTTP authentication via a .htaccess file (or in httpd.conf), I know of no reason you should have to log in.

@ratterauthorDec 28.2009 — I know the reason of my annoys now but a new problem emerged.

The reason i could not work with wampserver was that at my platform there were iis and SQLSERVER2005 installed.

I installed WAMPSERVER on my other WIN XP platform, my laptop.

if i want to load php pages i create on the laptop i insert the page at: c:wampwwwindex.php and call it by assigning: http://localhost at the browser. What if i want to call that page from a remote machine connected to the laptop at the same lan ? calling the laptop's ip (http://192.168.0.2) show an error message that says: "FORBIDDEN you're not allowed to connect to that server". Any idea where i go from here ?

@kane112Jan 02.2010 — If you are new to php try using xampp installing php mysql and apache can be a real chore ? much easier for new programmers

That was an headache but finally i found i had iis installed. Removing it, removed my headache... iis is good for headaches...
