getting around 30sec timeout

Hello,

1 of my clients is with godaddy and wont leave lol,

the problem is i have an email script so they can send out mass emails, all was ok but 12 months on and they have a lot of subscribers so now the script times out befor reaching the end,

I have tried a php.ini addition but dosent get picked up on the godaddy servers,

is thetre a way i can have the script run for x amount of seconds and then re run it again starting from where it left so to stop it timing out,

@svidgenJul 15.2009 — This sort of thing is best left up to a 3rd party service with ISP white-list contracts ... something like iContact.

@MindzaiJul 15.2009 — Have a look at PEAR's Mail_Queue class - it's designed for just this sort of situation and works perfectly. I use it send a couple of hundred emails per hour via a cron job until the subscriber's list is finished.
