How do you developers out there integrate payment processing into your websites?
What I’m working on isn’t your typical shopping cart and isn’t your typical subscription, it’s a combo of the two. And part of the sign-up process to the site would require payment, but that would not necessarily be the last part of the process. So I would need a system that would accept a dollar amount I give it in PHP (which could vary based on the sign-up preferences), process the payment, then return back to the site with a confirmation so the sign-up could proceed. If payment is not accepted then the sign-up would exit.
Anyone out there have any suggestions?
