How to find PHP/Drupal Help

Hello all;
I need the advice of the crowd here.
Where and how can i find the following person, so far i tried Drupal.org, Drupal.org.uk, twitter, and ads on my own site…

I need to find a PHP developer, knowlegable on the Drupal CMS and ideally UK based…

My site is functional, popular and established but a new kid is on the block and is handing me my butt by being flash (literally) and all show but his site is a facebook clone and seems to attract advertising $$$.

I need to get back in the game here but as we all know the money is tight right now.

I need to find someone to help out but as i said i have no pot of gold to offer… Any ideas?
