A question about randomizing images

I’m working on a marketing site for my upcoming business. I’m not doing the coding, but I have an idea of how I want the design to work and I need to know if it’s possible.

There is a series of like 8 images. Then there is a series of like 4 slides with marketing text. WE want it to work so that you click through it all like a slideshow.

However, I want a few thing specific.

  • 1. I want them to go in chronological order.

  • 2. The images themselves are actually going to be the background of the site. The whole images will take up the whole page and we aren’t adding other elements to go over. So I want them to randomize among those.

    I don't see how you can randomly display images in chronological order!

    Just doesn't make sense.
