Calling javascript in XML driven Flash menu with DIV’s

Hello-

Forgive me as I’m trying to keep all these elements separate…

I’m designing a website that uses a Flash menu with links loaded from an external XML file.

I want to set up my site with CSS Div’s so that the Flash menu stays in the top header div, and loads my content pages in a lower div. From what I understand, this can’t be done with simple XML and AS functions, but instead needs Javascript.

Someone also recommended AJAX? Another suggested calling inline javascript in my flash file?

-Remember that my flash links the menu items with an XML file.
-All my content pages will be html files, hosted on the same server (no external urls)
-I am doing this to avoid using frames or tables

I’m just totally lost at this point.

Can someone offer me a step by step, in terms of which element I need to modify in order to make this happen?

Any help is much appreciated!!! Thanks!
