External Link in IFrame

I created the following external link in a page that loads into an iframe:

<iframe id=”pframe” class=”PageFrame” src=”Section04/PageTab09.html” scrolling=”no” ></iframe>

<p class=”PageLink” > <a href=”http://hubblesite.org/gallery/” >
<img src=”../Assets/Images/Creation/NASALogo.gif” alt=”Link to NASA” />
</a>Images courtesy of NASA </p>

The link works correctly (using Firefox) when I browse directly to the page, but when it loads into the iframe it does not work. Hovering over the link does not show any change in the mouse pointer or the status bar nor does it rediect to the proper page. The external page display correctly when I set the iframe source to: http://hubblesite.org/gallery/.

The above works correctly in IE 7, but not in Firefox or Safari.

Any suggestions?

@chestertbJul 28.2008 — It may be that the target site is coded to intercept iframes to prevent you from doing this, and that their intercept doesn't work in ie7.
