[HELP] Visiting IP Ban?

Is there a simple way of banning an IP or a range of IPs from visiting my site permanently?

[CODE]User-agent: 38.99.203.110 (Example IP Address)
Disallow: /[/CODE]

If you have a Control Panel via your hosting service, there is a tool in it that will allow you to ban IPs very easily.

@Major_PayneNov 18.2007 — But if you use your Control panel, it does all the work for you. That's why I did not go into how to do it with .htaccess file. A lot easier using the Control Panel to ban IPs.

@m_munozauthorNov 18.2007 — Unfortunately my host doesnt have that feature (rather, they have it but it doesnt work). So I was forced to use htaccess instead.
