exclude images for border

hello, i have a website i been working on, and i got images that are hyperlinks and i was wondering if i could have no border/hover border color. but with hover color for the navigation..if you need the example just ask..hopefully it’s clear enough

@WebJoelJul 07.2008 — Keep in mind that if a border is added for the psuedo-state ":hover", it adds to the width/height of this image. This could be placement-busting, causing the image to 'shift' a bit when hovered-over.

A way around this is if you want a 'border' to become visible on-mouseover/hover, give the at-rest state a transparent, none (or, [I]same-color-as-background[/I] border) for the [B]a img {border:2px solid white;}[/B] and replace border color with your chosen color for the 'hover' state.
